2940nm Er:YAG laser was chosen due to its high ablation efficiency. Because of high absorption in target chromophore water at the 2940nm wavelength, the skin will be quickly heated up and instantly peeled off with very little thermal energy. The energy features a shallow exposure depth; therefore the affected part can be healed almost instantly. Apply for skin resurfacing, melasma, wrinkles and fine lines, wart and nevus removal.
