Why does the SlimVive Utilize a 1060nm wavelength?
The SlimVive Diode Lipolysis system uses 1060 nm because this wavelength is highly absorbed by fat cells, allowing it to heat and damage them without harming the skin or surrounding tissue. At 1060 nm, the energy penetrates to the ideal depth for targeting subcutaneous fat, raising the temperature enough to trigger fat cell destruction. Over the following weeks, the body naturally removes these damaged fat cells, leading to a slimmer, more contoured appearance.
